*Blog:A blog is a term for the shortened form of a web log. It is an on line publishing tool that allows students and teachers to communicate by publishing articles, comments, and other information. Blogs may contain text, photos, and links to websites.This Web 2.0 tool has many uses for the student such as providing a tool for publishing and receiving feedback on published pieces. There are several engines for creating blogs.

*Del.icio.us: A social bookmarking site to keep web bookmarks or favoirte online. These bookmarks are available anytime you have access to the web. Del.icio.us enables powerful cross-referencing between bookmark owners, providing opportunities to s hare an collaborate.

*Flickr!: Flickr is the best way to store, sort, search and share your photos online. Flickr helps you organize that huge mass of photos you have and offers a way for you and your friends and family to tell stories about them.

*Jing: Jing is a screen capture tool (picture or video, with or without audio).

*Microsoft Office Live Workspace: Microsoft Office Live Workspace is an online place to save, access, and share documents and files.

*Pageflakes: Pageflakes is your personalized homepage on the Web. Your favorite online information (news, weather, sports, entertainment, photos) all on one page that you can acess from anywhere. You can collaborate on your page with a group of people, or publish it to the world.

*Skype: Skype allows you to communicate synchronously through video or audio calls or "instant messages" with people around the world.
